For a breakout session during a corporate speaking event, I designed a custom-built sushi yatai—a traditional Japanese food stall—with a modern twist.
 

The Challenge: Create a visually recognizable sushi stall that is cost-effective, quick to assemble, and intended for single-use.
 

The Solution: I designed a minimalist pergola structure paired with high-boy communal tables to serve as countertops, blending form and function while maintaining the Japanese street-food aesthetic. I utilized SketchUp and V-Ray for visual mockups, and developed detailed technical design packages in SketchUp Layout, which were handed off to the production team to build according to spec.
